Reflecting on my journey, I realize how much I took my flexibility for granted back in high school when I was involved in various sports. With coaches pushing me to excel and reminders to prioritize flexibility and stretching, it was easier to maintain. However, after those days were behind me, I noticed a gradual decline in my flexibility. Through jiu jitsu, ive realized the importance of stretching once again. I've been dedicating time to it lately, and I'm already seeing improvements on the mat. Yet, I acknowledge that I'm still far from where I want to be. Stretching isn't just about touching your toes; it's about enhancing overall mobility, preventing injuries, and promoting better posture. It's a vital aspect of self-care that everyone should incorporate into their daily routine. Keep stretching and getting that flexibility up! Pain is pleasure!
