This is an example of what females call “the whisper network.” The whisper network is simply how women use word-of-mouth to protect ourselves from creeps. Women have been doing this since the dawn of time so imagine the boost that email, texting and social media platforms have given us. 
The #metoo movement took less than an hour. Because we have been #metooing our entire lives. 
Now we can reach thousands of other women we didn’t even KNOW and warn them about the problematic behavior before it even hits that woman’s town.
