Thanks everyone who's been opening my PPVs while I've been away - it helps me a bit with some of these travel expenses I am incurring. I will be home October 1st or so and be back on cam as per usual. It's been an amazing trip so far and looking forward to having a visit with my family at the end.
As of now, I got to see yellowstone hot springs and that included the morning glory pool. To be honest, some of the smaller hotsprings were more brilliant to look at. Like the mammoth hot springs with the white cliffs and Norris with the geysers. Yellowstone is home to the world's tallest active geyser called the steam boat geyser.
Also made a stop through national glacier Park. The rocks surrounding all the area were very beautiful and varying, but one of the notable features was the pinkish purple rocks and green rocks. Really stunning. There were beautiful mountain ranges along the way.
Headed up to Utah and saw canyonland, which if you know what the grand canyon is like, I suppose similar to that. I've never been to the grand Canyon but I am guessing it's similar.
Canyonland was breathtaking! You probably saw my post of one of the views of it below.
I did a small 1hr hike to get to a beautiful naturally fed hotspring. The whole river looked muddy brown, and I was uncertain that there would be a beautiful hotspring oasis at the end. But once I got there and saw this beautifully clean hotspring, the hike was certainly worth it. Had a nice soak in the natural hot spring. With hotsprings there's Thermophiles, which help tell you how hot the water will be. If green, on the warm side, if orange, on the hot side. This hot spring had green Thermophiles.
I ended up in St Louis, which was a cool town. Saw the giant gateway arch from the bottom, and snapped a pic. Also went to the city museum, which was not as much of a museum as it were an amusement park. Honestly my knees still hurt. I crawled around and went completely feral in that place. It's unlike any experience I've ever had. Would certainly recommend to anyone willing to get on all fours.
Today I am on the way to Niagara falls. I have never been there but I am looking forward to it.
