They rescheduled my appointment today. 10 minutes before it was supposed to start they called to say, "With the issue, you have going on you need a physical appointment, not a video appointment." to which I thought no shit. I couldn't convince them to come to my home to do a pelvic exam so it looks like I have to leave my apartment complex for the first time in five months after I've been so careful during this whole COVID situation. But honestly, I'm just glad to have an appointment to get this taken care of. Because my vagina is too important to go another two months without having sex and not having this looked at. it is painful and it worries me. The appointment is the 1st week of November. it would have been later in December if I did not tell them that I would bring my boyfriend to transfer me from the chair to the exam table because they would have to arrange to reserve a patient lift for that day. You would think a million-dollar Hospital could afford one patient lift per practice or hell even two! How scandalous! I swear healthcare is ridiculous.
