So we are talking about dating profiles and how to write a good greeting message in my sub. Here is a part of it ^^

The Greeting Message!
So important. You have basically 5 seconds to catch her attention. Never do something like this.

Hi 😀

This is the first thing they read. Would you approach a woman somewhere and say hi and then just wait for her to respond and ask you a question first? No. So don't do that on your dating profile.

Make it funny, absurd, philosophical, or anything that with the first read says something about yourself.

Someone I know wrote for his greeting - We were never meant to live eternally with 1 person.

Now this statement removes all the women who believe otherwise. And from those who believe his statement is true, he has a much higher chance of getting the person to read his profile because they've already had a connection. But he made a statement and some who even disagree will still read the profile because they are curios as to why he would write that. But you can already see a conversation beginning that doesn't start with how are you? What do you do for work? Where do you live? Generic questions that have been asked 1000's of times.
