Through fallen snow and chilling air,
My love and I did bravely dare
To venture to the forgotten hall,
To witness what lay within its pall.

No voices echoed through the space;
The silence hung like a cold embrace.
Yet still, we journeyed through the night,
Our hearts aflutter with new delight.

In the upstairs room, we found a sight
That warmed our hearts and lit up the night.
A projector stood, a relic of old,
Its lens now foggy, its inner workings cold.

But there we were, my love and I,
So close together, none could pry.
As the film began to play,
Our love lit up the screen, I'd say.

With every kiss and every touch,
Our bond grew stronger, none could judge.
As the snowstorm raged outside,
Our love remained a source of pride.

Together in that moment, we found,
A romance that could not be bound
By time or weather, youth or age,
For we had each other, the perfect stage.

When the film came to an end
And we had to depart the old cinema's bend,
We strolled hand in hand through the snow,
Our love a light that forever glowed.

Thus ends a tale of love so true,
Of a winter's night that shall go down in lieu,
Of a forgotten hall and projector old,
And a romance that never grew cold.
