Update. I got bitten (more than once) by a mosquito on my leg. This is according to the Dr, after he was able to look at it in pics I sent. Unfortunately because of my immune system, I’ve taken a reaction to the wee bestie bites and that’s causing the swollen glands, pain in my ear and other symptoms. I popped out into the garden, last week and that’s when it must have happened, not Sunday like I thought. 
Just have to ride it out but I cannot tell you the relief of finally getting to the bottom of everything. 
Thanks for putting up with me, I know I’ve been a miserable wee cunt the last few days 😂❤️
