Happy New Year to you from Japan 🌸🌸
I stayed at a Ryokan last night at Nagano and had a really really nice Onsen (hot Spring). I passed out right after onsen btw lol.

That being said, not sure if you see the news yet. The earthquake/tsunami that happened last night in Ishigawa prefecture is right next to the prefecture where I was. And me and my friend felt the severe earthquake last afternoon. Luckily we are all fine.
We had to change our plans to go to Nagoya instead of Kanazawa. And we should be good for the rest of our trip (all inland)
We will stay safe!
