Whether you like Jennifer Lawrence as an actress or not you've got to admit that she makes bold moves in her career. She doesn't just rest for the easy money that comes with franchises and romantic comedies. Her filmography is very diverse. And Red Sparrow is the perfect example. It had pretty horrible reviews...but I LOVED IT!

From the first minute to the very last 5 minutes...I had NO idea how the movie would end. And god, it doesn't happen that often anymore. I had my doubts, but each time, they would draw me back into wondering... "what if..."!

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, thinking it's one of the best films I've seen this year. It was a bit cruel, but had great action scenes. Very good performance by Jennifer and also a good plot twist. 

In my opinion it had everything a fantastic nervewrecking movie should have. Don't hate on the mini details (where it's shot, the hair etc.) And be careful with the t0rture / pain scenes...ugh some of those were INTENSE! (in a good but a painful way lol)

Definitely worth watching. And even better than that...it takes the FIRST place in my Jennifer Lawrence movie marathon.

Up next? Not sure I will have time to watch one tonight.... but if I do, I'm thinking to watch Serena. It's another pairing of Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. Will they impress me more than with Silver Linings Playbook? A movie in the 1930s....I usually enjoy those...we will see!
