❤️First things first - create boundaries. But wait, don't run away just yet! Creating boundaries is actually the easy part. The real challenge is rewiring your brain to subconsciously respond with healthy behavior. And yeah, it's easier said than done. But we've got a trick up our sleeve - the power of the pause.

❤️Before you react to any situation, take a deep breath and hit pause. This gives you time to process your immediate reaction and decide whether it's healthy or not. Are you reacting or responding? Big difference, folks. Trust me.

❤️Now, don't feel discouraged if you mess up a few times. Unlearning abusive behavior is a process that takes time. Eventually, healthy responses will become a habit and second nature. So go ahead, give it a try. Your future self will thank you!
