Black Micro Bikini - Suit Up Saturday E15

Girls Just Want to Have Fund, Behind the Room Divider!
Welcome to Suit Up Saturday, The Show! Where Piper tries on the mystery garments that you send her. From Amazon, Victoria's Secret, your Tailor's Closet or whatever. Then you tell Piper, does it Suit Up!

Bikini and Bomb, what do they have in common?
The bikini was named after a United States island used to test the hydrogen bomb, called Bikini Atoll. Yes, that was what was happening in May 1946! Since its inventor, a French car engineer named Louis Réard thought the bikini was as shocking as a nuclear test.

Who popularised the bikini?
It took about 17 years after its creation for the bikini to become mainstream. And so it began in 1957 with Brigitte Bardot at the Cannes Film Festival.

Playboy and Bikinis!
It took even longer for the bikini to make its first apparition in Playboy. And the only piece featured was the bikini bottom, with distinctive tan lines on the cover of June 1962.

Most Valuable Bikini!
Before the bikini, there wasn't even The Bond Girl! Good for us, in the 1962 Dr. No movie, the actress Ursula Andress wore a white bikini swimsuit that would create the now-famous James Bond Women! That same bikini was sold in 2011 for the amount of £41,125.

Thank you to the secret admirer who sent this package!
