Boy am I glad Christmas is over. The New Year to come is going to be wicked exciting for me, and you, as I am moving on soon to check out the glacial region of Patagonia! ❄️

But first, enjoy this spring time capture of me fresh out the sauna, getting ravished by intense wind and rain, while drooling over the beauty of these fragrant yellow flowers. Patagonia is a treat for the senses. 

It has been so so so beneficial to my mental health to spend extended periods of time getting deep into nature. Taking 10 hour long hikes once a week sounds intense and exhausting (accordingly to my sister 😂) but for me it is the perfect refuge. I can step away from playing the numbers game, get my head out of the rat race, and give my body and soul the nourishment that it needs to feel connected to my roots.

Friends, if you are feeling mentally stuck or physically lazy, get yourself outside. Free your mind of negative thought patterns, and time wasting activities like constant use of social media, by getting back to where people once spent every waking moment of their lives, outdoors. Feel what it’s like to be a human again, and take a hike. Your mind, body, and soul will thank you. 

And if you can’t get out right now, may my videos in this pristine environment serve as a small sense of relief from the fast paced, artificial world we are so wrapped up in.
