β¨π READING OF THE WEEK πβ¨ I pulled a few cards for us all for this coming week. π Take the messages that resonate within them and use them to channel the path to your innermost desires in alignment with your greatest good. The energy of the new moon is upon us- so I asked my tarot deck... Q: What energy will help us to grow towards what we wish to draw into our lives? A: Death XIII/13 The death card seems spooky. But it's not! (I promise) The death card represents the moment of letting go. What do you do when death comes for you, as it comes for all things? Do you cower, act ignorant, fight it, or accept it and let it take you? Sit with yourself to see what you may be holding on to. This card reminds us that everything in life is impermanent. And we can take comfort in this- knowing that each present moment is a gift, and that all things good and bad must come to an end. If there's something you've been holding on to (or something/someone that has a hold on YOU), it's time to let it go. Try to meditate or journal to really tap in to what things you are better off without. When we let go, we make room for other things/people to enter our lives. Death is but the next journey. What movie is that from? lol Next, I asked a followup question. Q: What energy will help us on this quest of letting go? A: The Empress III/3 (reversed) The Empress in her upright state represents feminine energy in it's grandest form. She is love, she is sexual energy, she is creation. Feminine energy is about giving & receiving. She does so in flow, with ease. She is abundant and full of life- others are drawn towards her. When the Empress is reversed it tells us that we may be giving too much of ourselves to others. We may need to take a step back to see what our relationships with others are based upon. Do you give/receive enough from the other person, or is it a one-sided relationship? Use careful discernment to find balance with your loved ones. This could also be telling us that we need to give ourselves a little more love! The reversed Empress is about inner love rather than love expressed outwardly. Think of the ways in which you may have been hard on yourself, and cut yourself some slack. Nurture yourself in the ways you wish to be nurtured by others. You may find that you are better able to give to others once you have filled your own cup. Hope those two cards resonated with ya'll as much as they did for me, haha x) I got a new oracle deck as well today, so I pulled one more card for us for this week π Tower (unplug & relax for a spell) What a cute deck (aaaaa) This shows a woman in a yoga pose leaning against the wall. She's very relaxed in this state, trusting in the wall to support her as she gains strength. Take some time for yourself this week. As a person that works on the internet- I can speak to the power of unplugging. Many of us are constantly plugged in to our phones or computers daily. When you unplug, you give your mind space to think. When you are able to listen to your mind without distraction, you can understand your subconscious wants and needs instead of using electronic media to drown them out. That may be dramatic, but I know I use my technology to do that  Take time this week to really relax but also tune in. You may be surprised at what you'll learn. In this relaxed state you can be replenished. Draw a bath, move your body, eat nourishing foods. Take care and show yourself compassion. p.s. I tried to make a video but the lighting was so horrendous I had to give up on it LMAO so I thought I'd type something out instead π Hopefully next week I'll get my timing better so I don't have to fight with the natural light in my filming room π€£ Happy New Moon π xoxo, Mary
