Last year's Ukrainian strawberries are liking the warm weather in my greenhouse! I'm really excited to have 2 of these very rare varieties from Ukraine, as they're no longer available for sale anywhere! I've nurtured them all winter and the big one in the front has 2 long runners and lots of healthy leaves, so I'm expecting fruit!

I've already started lots of new alpines this year as well and they're in video 2. The first batch is putting out its first true leaves, and I've been starting one or 2 varieties a week for a month now, so lots more to come!

I am excited to get to grow and share these berries within my local community. I'm trying my best to be extremely careful with the plants so that they will make many babies (as that's the only way to get true genetics easily), and hopefully tasty fruit.
