****Complete Guide To OnlyFans****
Revision 1 Page 1

This guide is in sections. Setup, planning for the future, day-to-day operations, and using the platform. I will be working on and adding 2 new sections to the guide, advertising on social media, and troubleshooting.

There are many different types of accounts on OnlyFans offering a vast array of content and services. Here is a breakdown of the two main types, then a list of all the services you can utilize to profit from your account. It is advisable to mix and match these to fit your needs.

There are 2 main types of subscriptions to choose from for your page…

*Paid:*

Content creators using the paid subscription model charge a fee to gain entry to their page. Creators can choose from a variety of privacy settings, limiting the preview of their page that users see before subscribing. Users cannot see content or comment on posts before paying. They also cannot message the creator. Creators can charge $4.99-$49.99 per month. Additionally, creators can sell individual posts, receive tips, and sell PPV messages.

*Free:*

Content creators using the free subscription model have no paywall to enter their page. All users must do to subscribe is have an active card attached to their account. Creators have the same privacy settings available as paid accounts to control what users see before subscribing. Free content creators make all their money through paid posts, tips, and PPV messages.

Some ways to configure your account….Paid subscription that unlocks a permanent gallery of content.
This is great for creators that want to showcase one complete body of work, or for creators that just want their content to build up cumulatively over time. The downside is that all your content is available to anyone that subs for as little as a month.
Paid subscription where content is sent to your inbox daily/weekly/monthly. You may also choose to have content on your page.
This model is great for preventing people from seeing your life’s work for a flat rate. Only active subscribers get access to content you send out, and as an added bonus they will be checking back frequently to see if you sent out new content yet.
Free subscription with some free content available, and more for purchase through posts and messages.
This is a great way to give fans a no-commitment taste of your work. Share the stuff you only want your fans to see that isn’t premium content, and tempt them into buying PPV posts and messages with tasty captions and descriptions.
Free page with entirely free content advertising premium content elsewhere.
This is a great model for creators with multiple revenue streams. If you already have an OnlyFans, AVN stars, or other content selling business, an additional free OF account can give your fans a free taste of what you offer elsewhere, possibly without the 20% commission.

Before you get started….

Running an OF page is legally running a small business in many countries. The terms and conditions of service are legally binding, and when you set up an account you are creating a legally binding contract. You should thoroughly read all documents provided for your inspection at the time of sign-up, and reread them at least monthly.
Many creators choose to ignore sections of the TOS, like the no smoking, and no taking payments off the application. In general there is no punishment because OF has no effective way to monitor these transactions. But make no mistake, if you break the TOS and you are ever reported, they will be within their legal rights to terminate your contract immediately, without paying you your account balance. You assume all risk by choosing to violate the contract. Not reading it isn’t an excuse, so you should read it and fully understand what you are committing to before beginning to upload content there. i.e. the TOS states you may not delete your account while you have any active subscriptions.

There is always a chance you could be found out or recognized. OF has very limited piracy protection and fans were previously allowed to download a small amount of content as per the TOS. Because of this, there is no real security to prevent content from getting leaked. If being found out in your personal life would threaten your livelihood or security, please consider alternative methods of work, and take every precaution possible.

It is a good idea to have a general business plan in mind before beginning but it can be very vague.
Try to have a general idea of how much time you can commit on a weekly basis, but also the lifetime of the project. Starting an account with a 5-year business plan is very different from starting an account to pay your bills for the next few months. The longer you give yourself to build an audience, the more you can profit in total, but also the more work you put in.
You should also have a general idea of theme and possible pricing. You don’t need to have exact numbers, but there’s a huge difference between $5 and $50 subscriptions. There is nothing wrong with either number, it is all about maximizing profits from the strategy that works best for you. See more on pricing below.

**Setup:**

Setting up your account is a multi-step process. You will need a valid government ID showing you are 18 years or older.

*Step 1: Sign-Up*

Start by clicking the referral link sent to you. You will enter the sign-up page. You will be prompted to enter your name, email address and password. You will also be asked to check a box saying you have read the terms and services. IT IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED that you read the entire document before going any further. You are signing a legally binding document that may allow them to not pay you if you don’t understand it. Read the privacy policy AND terms of service.
After accepting the policy and hitting enter you will be brought to your new home page. At this point your OnlyFans page is officially created.
You can post content immediately, but you cannot charge until you verify your account.

*Step 2: Verification*

Before you can start charging on your page you must fill out some information on your profile and submit a government ID.
Upload a profile picture and cover photo, along with a short bio. Link at least one social media account and your website if possible.
The ID submission process varies by country and region, but generally when you submit your account for verification you will be prompted to upload a picture of your photo ID. You may also be asked to take a selfie with your ID to prove it is you.
That’s it! Sit back and wait for the verification process to be completed. It may take up to 72 hours.

*Step 3: Looking Your Best*

After your account is approved there’s going to be some housekeeping that need to be done on your page before you start uploading content and promoting your page.

Write a longer bio introducing yourself and explaining a little bit about your theme. i.e. “Hi I’m Kacy and I am a 5’7 pinup model from Vancouver island. You can expect to find full erotic content here including open crotch nudes and XXX.” Your bio doesn’t have to be long, but make sure it is minimum of a full paragraph. It is good to introduce yourself or your stage name, the area of the world you’re from, and what kind of content you produce at the very minimum. Remember, if you have a paid subscription this is the only thing subscribers see before paying you. ALWAYS write your personal piracy policy at the bottom. If you don’t have one, simply saying content is not available for download or redistribution is some protection.Configure your privacy settings to display the information you want.Set your subscription price to free or paid. (note you can make your price $4.99-49.99 currently) Write a short welcome message under the ‘chat’ settings to send up to new subscribers when they join.Write an introductory post for your new subscribers. Start by introducing yourself and telling your subscribers why you made this account. Tell them what kind of content to expect from you, and how much of each type. Be sure to mention if content will be available permanently or only temporarily. This is a good place to list out pricing on paid content like purchasable posts and PPV. If you are offering services like the girlfriend experience be sure to list that as well. (If you don’t have a pricing plan that is okay too.) After you publish your post, select it to pin it to the top of your page. (note, you are allowed to pin multiple posts to your page. They will appear in descending order, starting with the first pinned item.

*Step 4: Getting Paid*

Before you can schedule your first withdrawal you must submit the correct tax documents and connect your bank account. The tax document required in the USA is a W9 and can be filled out online.
Connecting most bank accounts is as simple as entering your bank account number and routing number. Never do this over an unsecured internet connection.
Your payment approval make take up to 72 hours for OF to process, during this time your account will show payment details as pending.

Your account is now set up and ready for you to begin uploading content or promotion.
