While recovering yesterday - last night with insomnia I always scroll through Reddit & one of the subcategories -#that’s insane showed a video of a youngman live streaming himself and his friends on a plane about to touchdown at their destination- if you’ve already seen it - you know I’m talking about yesterday’s Nepal crash. I knew nothing that that happened- so to find out I’m watching the last few seconds of someone’s life was just a punch in the gut. I actually feel something for a complete stranger when I see something happen to them that I know is their last moments.
Empathy is missing in this world these days.
What, if any, random event or news article or shooting, etc has sparked an emotional (internal or external) response from you where you mourned complete strangers? Have you ever had that reaction? I just wanted to spark a conversation here on MLK Jr Day that we celebrate in the United States.
Smooches!
