I am learning that being grounded is a way to keep ourselves present in our body and connected to the earth. We are able to feel centered or balanced in reality. I love to be barefoot in sand and dirt, on rocks, grass, and wood, and in water. When I walk into a social setting, I tend to find a place of earth, slip off my Rainbows, and put my feet firmly on the ground. I breathe in, stretch, and as I breathe out, I smile and acknowledge the sights around me. I am grateful to experience peace of mind by being out of the stories in my head and in the world.
