🙂 My birds are great and all of the work I did prior to the storm paid off. A lot of water came in the roof leaks but I got all of the old drywall and insulation out of there beforehand. It's just a clean puddle to shop vac vs having a sopping pile to clean up. I am a few dump runs from being able to wash the remaining walls, add drywall in a few places, paint and flooring. I still need to get roof repaired but I have educated myself about these things enough to be able to figure out if someone is competent enough to be hired. Slow progress is still progress. 🙂 If I can get that done I think I am a month or 6 weeks away from move in!, with a kot of hard work on my part too! So soon!!
