Fun times last night. What lead to me walking topless through my neighborhood at 1am? I'll tell you. I woke up at 1am after falling asleep on the couch after inhaling delicious fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. A much needed high calorie dinner.  I thought I should take the dogs out to do their business. I take the adopted dog and the found puppy separately at night because they really like to wrestle in the road together and it's hard to walk them. :) So I took her, then him. She had a great walk, no issues. I was talking him out and closed the screen door as usual. For some reason she decided to bust out the screen door and take off. In the middle of the damned night. She headed to my neighbors house who has cats. I know she doesn't care for cats since she's pulled quite hard trying to get them on our walks. I was immediately worried she may bust in their screen door so I quickly shoved the other dogs inside and ran after her, cell phone flashlight in hand. I did NOT remember to grab her leash. Big mistake. I caught up to her before she could do anything naughty, but she wouldn't come with me. She wanted to explore!! It was the dark of night, no moon still out, no street lights and no houses lights were on still. I cornered her in another neighbor's carport. I had on only a tank top, pj shorts and flip flops. I knew no one would see and my long hair would cover me anyway, so I whipped off my tank top and tied it around her neck. Now this was good and bad. I had a hold of her and she wasn't going to be able to run away, but I could not pull her from the front. The tank top would come off. So I had to follow her and try to guide/push lightly to steer her back toward home, the long way, not through people's yards. We finally made it, half naked and wide awake. lol. The dog drama doesn't end! lol I smoked one and went back to sleep finally. I don't think anyone saw a thing luckily. That would have been quite awkward.
