While things appear calm on the surface here I have heard there will likely be food shortages in my area soon. It is an island and this was something I considered long before moving here. I had many years to research and ponder these very scenarios before I made my decision. I continue to feel that my chances of survival in a worse case scenario are much higher here than they were in California. Today I am getting more supplies to build additional quail and new chicken aviaries. In worse case scenarios this place is abundant with fruit, wild pigs and goats. I am not in a congested city area so I have space and a quiet street. I'm going to start herb gardens soon as well. I am quite nervous to see how this plays out but I know Kiki and I will have food. How are you guys coping with all of this?
