Come to me, Success!

get dressed all fancy,
put a feather on your head,
adorned in your shimmering jewels--

I am ready, Success!

let me take you by the wrist
twirling you all across the room for 
everyone elegant and sophisticated to see--

Oh, I’ve been waiting, Success!

in the shambled heaps of old fabric,
holes in my shoes, dreaming of you,
dreaming of eassssiness--

But WAIT! 
Don’t come so fast!
