I’ve been renting my apartment since I split with my ex over 2 yrs ago. My lease is up in April. Last year, they went up on my rent despite them having other 1st floor 1 bedroom units available $200+ less than what I’m paying now. And I even called the corporate office with other comparable apartments and they still refused to drop the price. I have a feeling I’ll be dealing with the same issue. And they won’t let me move into another 1 bedroom unit. I’ve decided a couple months back that I think I want to purchase a townhome. My anxiety is up as I’ve been looking for a place. I was considering a new community with move in ready place and they’re offering buyers credits. Working with the builders lender and working numbers only to finally get the payment down to what’s comfortable and it as already under contract 😫. This is not for the faint of heart 😬
