New glasses for computer work😁. 

Soooo stoked…I got a 10.29% annual raise!  That was on top of the 4% I got 6 months into the job. I actually had a discussion with my boss about that one expressing my disappointment. Just goes to show you that hard work and efforts can pay off!!!  Honestly, I had gotten a very late start in my career. Took me 10 yrs between my undergrad and MBA degrees. When I graduated, I was obese and basically discriminated against to the point I gave up looking for a few years. The only job I could get was a part time position with a small tax office and I did that for years. Ever since then all my job moves have been for full time, benefits, more pay, gain skills, and/or better position. I have worked damn hard for every job I ever had, nothing was given to me freely. I proved my worth each time!  Yes, a little luck helps, but even then you have to set yourself up and create your own luck sometimes. 🤨
