So I asked you all which 'big cat' was my power animal the other day -- and while I can probably find a way to identify with *every* cat, I actually have a very powerful guide who has been visiting me in my meditations/journeys and dreams for years.

To maybe no one's surprise given my love for black cats, the *panther* is most certainly one of my protectors. My astral guide actually shapeshifts from a black cat to a panther. I was seeing this happen before my Shaman mentioned it to me years ago! I had kept these dreams to myself, but when she told me what she saw, it was a very validating moment! 

For the last year, I've made friends with black cats wherever I go. And now I have a black cat of my own... (for all who follow my snap or discord channel you know Babycat) :) 

And if you've ever noticed the pendant I wear around my neck (the Celtic knot one) it's 3 cats intertwined. I am fascinated by the mythology of cats and their guidance between the 3D and astral world.

I grew up being 'a dog person' ... but I dare not be put into simple boxes! I just fucking love animals and they have been some of the greatest teachers of my life.

From my first family dog, to a rescued baby deer, to my soulmate Bella that I had for 14 years, to Babycat... I am honored to be surrounded by their unconditional love and support. 

And this... This is why I moved to a farm to live part-time.
Despite all the chaos around this move, and the emotional wounds it has brought up (family will do that to ya!) I feel more *me* when I'm with animals. Life just makes more sense, ya know?
