So last night concluded our 4y Rise of Tiamat campaign!

We actually managed to defeat her (with some rule of cool from the DM) and it was a bittersweet moment as we finally beat the BBEG but finished something we started during lockdown.

We reminisced our murder hobo moments, funny mishaps, general shenanigans and characters we lost along the way. We talked about how our personal lives changed massively in that time and how an unlikely group of people came together during a very dark time.

I'm so pleased we had the opportunity, and I've said goodbye to my character Réthiel who will forever be my first D&D character.

She decided to pursue the thieves guild and hold them accountable for their actions against us during the campaign whilst the other party members split to follow their own personal quests. Maybe they'll appear again as NPCs but I certainly won't be picking Réthiel back up to play. Now I know more about game mechanics, I find her clunky and low damage for her level.
