Did you tap your tulips today, aka breast today? Did you know massaging your breast and body, you are moving lymph tissue, your body's energy & bl*od flow! Self-care is very important for your mind, body & soul. I highly recommend practicing breast health every Tuesday with exercise & breath health techniques starting with tap your tulips. What is the tulip? The acupressure point pattern around the breast increases health by increasing movement. The tulip tap focuses on 6 points around the breast (picture it like drawing dots) and connects these dots by tapping your fingertips between the dots making the shape of a tulip flower. From there, extend the tapping down the abdomen to the 2nd toe, tap back up to the abdomen (stomach channel), tap off to the side of the abdomen (liver channel), and tap around the breast again after tapping start a self-breast massage (self-breast massage moves the lymph in the breast and the tulip tap moves the lymph around the breast). There are four steps for your sexy, healthy breast massage. Step 1 - Pump UpStep 2 - Pull OverStep 3 - Brush UpStep 4 - Pull-InAre you interested in a video on how to tulip tap & give yourself or a partner a breast massage? If interested in learning more, my good friend Lara started EssentiallyPink.com in 2006. It is a grassroots self-love movement to shift from our fear-based breast cancer model to one with self-love and breast health. Did you know the cure for breast cancer is healing the body and supporting a lifestyle that supports prevention? Essentially Pink’s model for breast health is perfect for what I talk about all the time! "sexy"- an acronym that stands for "S"- self-breast massage & tulip tap "E"- emotional & environmental connections to breast health "X"- out stress and "Y"- yes healthy foods for breast health. Please share, like, comment, and tell your friends & family that Tuesdays is for breast health day! Xoxo DR @drresa #drresa
