I think this one is going to end up near the top of the list by the time the month is over 

The film focuses and a couple and their daughter who’ve been living in a cabin in the wilderness for years . The husband has no interest in the outside world. He has what he needs from nature - food shelter and his family . His daughter has never really known the world outside the woods and his wife remembers and wants to return to a life where there are other people and indoor plumbing and grocery stores . 

It’s getting colder and food is becoming sparse . If that’s not bad enough it seems a wolf that had been stalking the family has seemingly returned which puts all their lives in danger . The wife pleads with her husband to tell the park services but he warns her that if they bring their problems to outsiders they’ll inherit new problems of their own . He doesn’t trust anyone and their marriage is starting to strain because of the lack of food, the isolation and the possible danger in the predator’s return 

When the husband goes out in search of the wolf to try and protect his family , what he finds is something more horrific than he could possibly imagine . 

The film does a great job of making you care about this family even with their differing opinions you know they truly care for one another and want to make this work . Once the main plot is established we’re thrown one curveball that flips things on its head a bit and just when you think this is going to be darker than you thought it goes wayyyy past that darkness and I think everyone who watched this was just sitting in silence for a bit once the credits rolled 

Very much worth a watch
