And I thought BASKIN was over the top in my review yesterday . This makes that look like family fare. SADNESS is a Taiwanese body horror film where all involved seem to be on a mission to outdo anything that’s come before or will come after 

Imagine if you will, a zombie movie . But these zombies retain their memories , their abilities, the ability to communicate and worse, the virus acts like rabies . These aren’t shuffling moaning undead monsters . These are humans that have been corrupted into very very very angry monsters with a virus that compels them to act out on their most inhumane instincts . They’re assholes basically but ones who want to cause as much suffering as possible and maybe infect you at the same time 

The movie wastes no time getting into the action and doesn’t really stop until the credits roll. If you like your horror movies filled with gore and violence and a lot of malevolence it’s going to be really hard to top this one . Be forewarned there’s a higher than average chance something in this film will offend you as it breaks most of the unwritten rules but if you’re looking for something over the top to one up your horror loving friends .. you win with this one
