Not one but TWO people said to me in the same day, “When people show you their true colors—believe them.” I’m still trying to understand what this means but I’ll take it. 
Cos I feel like the quote should also say something about ALWAYS being your true colors because then people will always believe (in) you. But if you keep changing up your flag then no one will believe you ever - esp when it’s true and you need it the most. 
I hope I’m making the right choice.
