Many months ago I posted that I would be on a “fitness journey” and I have finally hit my goal. I have also hit personal mental health and lifestyle goals that make me feel that I’m coming into a period of my life where I am truly happy with myself and my life—a major shift from where I was one year ago.

My overall goals were to quit drinking (I was drinking at least 2 liters of liquor, 2 boxes of wine, and god knows how much beer per month), eat with more of a fitness/body fat goal in mind (but still enjoying some good foods and snacks), drop from about 15% body fat down to roughly 7%, and to take much more time for my own peace of mind and mental health. I’ve succeeded in all of these areas and I’m feeling fucking amazing.
