water and warmth are so restorative to me; as is play. I'm starting to learn how stress indeed compounds, and "self-care" means more than getting a massage every once and awhile. I'm leaning into the idea lately that life is happening for me, including the stressors and tough stuff in between the joy and ease. 

One mantra I continue to come back to as I expand my gratitude capacity - with right hand over anahata (heart chakra), relax and take at least three slow, long breaths (4 seconds in, 6 seconds out) cleansing breaths. Repeat the following at least three times: "My heart is open. I give and receive love constantly."
Re-establish your connection between body and spirit. It's your birth right to feel safe and embodied <3
