Absorbing the sun through heated glass, practicing expansion of my present, personal "sati," mindfulness of body, mindfulness of feelings, mindfulness of mind or dharma, and mindfulness of mental objects. 

Cultivating mindfulness is an art and takes practice. One of my go-to ways to drop inwards, is to get intimate with my breath. The breath is always, only happening in the present moment, so each time we bring our attention to the it, we’re essentially practicing mindfulness.

Try this:
Set a timer and any expectations of your monkey mind aside for 2-3 minutes.
Inhale for 5 seconds
Exhale for 8 seconds
