Roller skating was a real passion of mine as a kid. It was a place to hang out with your friends without your parents watching. They would drop me off at the door with a few dollars in my pocket, I could see my friends, skate, see boys, make out with boys, listen to music and just have fun. Of course as I got older I became interested in other things and it fell by the wayside. 
 
 Then a number of years ago when I was going through some hard times in my personal life I decided to take it back up since I had enjoyed it so much way back when. I probably looked like a weirdo as a late 20s early 30s adult skating by myself but I did anyway. While it wasn't exactly the same as it was it conjured up those good feelings from my earlier days and was very good for me. 
 
 I have not been skating in a few years now but thought it might be fun to drag them out and put on for a photo shoot. I hope you enjoyed my little trip down memory lane as much as I did putting my skates on.
 
 Also, sorry about the quality of these. I took these at night in my house and the lighting is just not great in this room. I tried to edit them some to make them pop, hope they are suitable enough.
