Hi! I'm back from my quick weekend away. We were in Colorado looking at houses because we are crazy and are moving cross country for no reason besides we have always wanted to do it. And of course we choose now when we have 3 cats and a baby; so it's going to be fun 🙄

I wanted to share that my experience flying was better than the last time I flew, which was in 2018 with United. I remember when I flew then the seatbelt barely fit me, I had to sit kind of sideways and put the seatbelt way under my belly to get it to close. It didn't have any slack and was uncomfortable the entire time.

This time we flew Southwest and it was a much better experience. The first flight there wasn't much leg room and the seatbelt was small, but it fit. I was nervous at first but then I was able to get it on. The second flight was even better! More leg room and the seatbelt had more length and it was comfy. I'm not able to sit with it across my belly at all, but underneath it works just fine.

I did a little research before flying because I was curious and saw that United has one of the shortest seat belts in the industry, which is nuts! We flew Southwest for it mainly being easier with a baby but now I know to never fly United again, I won't fit! Also I saw you have to reserve seat belt extenders in advance? I don't know if that's true but that's not something I'd want to do.

So I'm happy Southwest had decent seat belts for me so I wasn't worried or uncomfortable the entire time! And as you can see it's still a tight squeeze, but at least it works!
