Thursday Music Production -- Inside My Computer, In my music making software (Ableton Live 11). I'm working on a new song today. Probably calling it 'Just Another Human'. I wrote the lyrics after my therapy session this morning. I was dealing with a part of me who wants to be super unique, special, more than human, reach my fullest potential. This part feels threatened by the mundane, simple life. Having children feels threatening to this part. Having children is humbling. Living in a world of fantasies, up in the clouds, dancing around in my dreams...this feels fun and free to so many of my parts. So like usual, I say goodbye to my therapist and head straight to the music room to let my deepest secrets and emotions express themselves for the whole world to eventually hear. This part of me wants to be special. She doesn't want to "just be another human".
