It’s NYE and I’m not working, this is strange! What do I do with myself? The bars here in Portland are only open till 11pm, not quite fulfilling the need to celebrate midnight, and they are only allowed to operate outside, it’s in the 30s at night here! So that’s not in my game plans! None of my friends seemed interested in a small house party, or rather no one wants to host it, because that requires work!  My other option is a sketchy parking lot comedy show where you party in your own cars and the comedy is broadcasted over FM radio. I’m contemplating this option but it still sounds cold and I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to drink in your car! I did get a slot to do a 5 minute set and it’s been forever it seems since I’ve gotten to do any stand up so it’s really tempting!
