Some of you asked me how do I cultivate happiness and peace in our daily life.
Be mindful of what we consume through our 5 senses. (eye, ears, nose, tongue, and mind) When I read the news, or watch this TV show or listen to this music or see this advertisement, I ask myself: Does this piece of content / knowledge brings me happiness, stability and peace? Or does it water my seeds of anger, fear, jealousy, low-self esteem and depression? When I consume a meal or drink a beverage, I ask myself, does this food in front of me brings me nourishment and healing to my body that is my temple? Or does it give instantaneous gratification and pleasure, but make me feel sluggish and ill afterwards?
