This here is an orphaned racoon whose family was killed when he was a smaller racoon and, without interfering with wild life, I have adored him from a far, as we should all do with any kind of wild life. 

However, with that said, today I broke that rule when I saw him laying like this, after what appears to be a fall either off the roof or out of one of the trees, he appeared to have hit the canopy which would have broken his fall a bit and I hope he has not broken anything. 

I call and called and finally found a lady willing to guide me in the right direction to a vet who specializes with raccoons and who really seemed to care. 

I will be staying up to date with his wellbeing and keep you posted to. Please wish him well and if you would like to help it would be greatly appreciated. I will try to get the direct information for you if you prefer do so directly. I too will be working hard to do what I can as well. 

I have been calling him Corey and he is a really cool guy and a cat lover too. I think he is a he, however, he could very well be a she too, not really sure as I didn't want to move him any more than I had to to get him to the vets.
