Finished the audiobook, **"I'm Glad My Mom Died,"** written and read by **Jennette McCurdy** *(which aids to the book, hearing her wit and tone throughout).* 📕🎧🎤♥️
It showed up as both recommended as well as a best seller on my *Audible* account, so with my monthly credit I decided to throw the dice. I honestly didn't expect to like it that much, if at all... Wow was I wrong. Similar life experiences in different worlds, but what really got me was how she explained where her head went in any given situation. *Jenette's* thought process, as she shares throughout her stories, is remarkably like my own. That familiarity, that relatability, I was stuck, dumbfounded feeling as though I was the one telling the stories while simultaneously nodding and laughing out loud *(literally, laughing out loud at some of the last chapters)* at relatable points that I realize many might not find humorous at all... I'll pretend to blame my dry and dark humor on the military that gave me comfort in that I wasn't alone in the occasionally *"off"* things that get a chuckle out of me. 😆😅😝😂🤷🏼‍♀️

*(and no, the relation as well as enjoyment of the audiobook has nothing to do with her mother or mine.)*
