***** Before you listen, there’s high notes, so volume warning, they might be a little loud??? *********
Alrighty, long post ahead I hope thats okay HAHA
soooo I know you guys aren’t here for music, but I kinda got this feeling that I should take a chance and maybe put this out there??? I’m super super nervous about sharing this, like I’m actually shaking as I type and my heart is pounding really hard xD

Today I was humming to myself and I liked the little melody I had going, so I took out my phone and just started recording. I’ve done this before but whenever I do it's improvised, so there’s always weird mistakes or awkward pauses and things I  dislike when I listen to these recordings back. But this time for whatever reason, I’m actually pretty happy with almost the entire thing??? Since it is improvised its a little rough in some spots and the vocals aren’t perfect, also it’s a little long and perhaps kinda boring for most people, but I feel like most of it would make for an interesting song if it was recorded properly. 

I’m thinking of titling this “isolation” since that was the way I was feeling while I was singing, and also since the vocals aren’t accompanied by instrumentals. I used a lot of reverb on the vocals to add to that feeling of loneliness, and also because I thought it made the vocals sound a little prettier. It’s a bit much in some spots but what can you do when all you have to edit is a free phone app 😂 I also prefer the mysterious feeling the reverb adds vs without it.
I don’t know the first thing about proper recording, mixing, or making music overall. But it’s something I’ve always wished I could do. Maybe this is a start???

I hope this wasn’t too terrible for your ears if you decided to listen to it 😅 I know a lot of people get bored of music like this, but I personally really love this ethereal style so hopefully some of you do as well haha
