I've just been looking at photos from early January just after I came back from my 10 day hiking holiday and wow I looked so fit. 
You might think this was on a deserted beach but it was actually right on the edge of a city and it was a bit of a challenge to dodge cars driving along the beach but the evening light was just too good not to get naked.

Now, 5 or 6 weeks into my ankle injury I can finally start moving again a little more.... not being able to go on bigger hikes has definitely had a bit of an impact on my cardio fitness, my physique and my mental wellbeing. It's time to get into the hills again - carefully of course!
