In fact, Zhujiajiao for tourists is a few narrow streets, along the edges of the canal. The streets are connected by bridges. At every turn of these streets are souvenir shops, eateries and all that sort of thing. Gondolas (or something like that) run along the canal, on which tourists ride (I don’t know how much it costs, the guide said about 100 yuan or more).
A lot of people. VERY VERY many people. Sometimes I had to take very small steps, literally 5 centimeters, because the whole street was full of people.
