I hear birds chirping.. 
What.. what happened?
My eyes felt heavy. It was hard to open them. I finally lifted my eyes open to bright warm sunlight beating down on me. I put my hand up to block the light and looked down. I was naked.. laying in a small body of water.. within the woods near my home. 

I started to remember. Was it all a dream? 
The water was calm, no sounds coming from within it. 
I start to get up... but quickly realize how shaky my legs are. My body is so tired.
What happened last night couldn't have been a dream. I know this monster was real. 
I gained my strength to slowly make my way home. I needed some real rest. 

The next night I decided to go back into the woods. Walking the same path.. to the same water... all was quiet.
The monster has to be here. It can't disappear! I...I.. need more. 

I stayed in the same spot all night. Nothing. 
I went back to this place.. a few days later.. a week after that.. a month after that...
The beautiful sounds never filled my ears.. the water stayed calm.. the Monster was gone. 

I would go over that night in my head. Like a dirty pervert wishing those tentacles would touch my body once more...
