When Sarah (the main character of my second novel, The Servants Of Need) is fourteen, her world is shaken by the arrival of Stee, who is the first & currently only man she desires. Later, when she’s nineteen, she meets Nic, whom she desires even more than Stee and becomes involved with very shortly after meeting him. She wishes she had she met him sooner, not realizing that that was more than a possibility. Some people think you can’t change the past. However, Nic and Sarah are both intense, tenacious individuals who don’t readily relinquish their desires, and Nic is someone who can and will alter reality as he sees fit.
