✨Today marks 3 years I’ve been sober for ✨

3 years ago I claimed my life back, put down my drink, and made a decision to no longer let something consume me. These 3 years haven’t been easy, there have been moments I’ve almost slipped during times of adversity. But, through this struggle I’ve emerged stronger. And I am very proud of who I am today. 

I know this post isn’t about sex, but it’s important for me to share this side of me, the honest and vulnerable side. Many people including myself have suffered from substances and I want to spread awareness and understanding. Know there is a light at the end of the tunnel; I’m blessed to be experiencing it 💙
