Totally and completely unrelated: I spent two and a half hours in the bookstore the other day, scanning the isles, pulling out random books that piqued my fancy, sitting on the ground getting lost in different topics. I sometimes forget how much there is out there for me to learn, and bookstores definitely will put that into perspective for you. I go through phases of being super consistent with reading and then months without even picking up a book and each time I come back to reading, whatever it may be, I see how beneficial it is for my wellbeing. It gives me a chance to escape while still using and stimulating my brain in a positive way. It’s mind expanding. And it gets me away from using my electronic devices. Nothing quite as nostalgic as the scent of the paper and turning delicate pages with your fingers📚 I only ended up buying one book though, “Women Who Run with the Wolves.” It’s been circulating in my sphere for years with tremendous positive feedback. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it! Yay to new books and perspectives!
