Lately I've been trying to remake some of my favorite sauces that I like to buy from the store. One of my favorites is a Romesco sauce from Trader Joes. It's a hearty roasted red pepper and tomato sauce that's delicious on just about everything. It was pretty simple to recreate and tasted even better than the store bought version. In this video I ate it on toasted sourdough I've also had it on tacos, crackers, and eggs. When made from scratch it should stay fresh in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks but I swear it won't last that long. :)
