All my life I have been comparing myself with other people, because in order to give yourself at least some assessment and characteristic, it is important to have something with which we can compare. And for so many years without being the best in everything (which is logical, I can’t be the best in anything, except for being who I am), I was constantly upset and sad and could not accept myself at all. This is a damaging comparison.
If you also constantly give up when you see a huge gap between yourself and other people in some skills / appearance / other characteristics, then believe me, you are not alone.
I still compare myself, but I constantly remind myself of an important thing. There is no point in being sad about it. The best thing to do is to study what another person excels you in more detail, perhaps you can notice your mistakes and find new ways to develop. The best thing to do is get inspired.

However, if for example you are jealous of a different eye color, or genetic features or your appearance, then this advice is not very useful. People with different characteristics catch my eye and I cannot have all the contradictory characteristics at the same time. my body cannot be long and short at the same time and so on. The best thing to do is to understand that you are the best at being yourself and highlighting these features and not hiding them.


I am writing about this because right now I saw a lot of incredibly talented people who are superior to me in many things, I was almost completely upset that I was not as wonderful as they are, but instead I wrote down useful ideas and their benefits to get a little better
