🧠Who do you think is happier, smart people or not so smart people? 

Before, it always seemed to me that the smarter a person is, the more he knows about this world and notices more, he is too demanding and self-critical, he thinks too much, etc., therefore he is more sad. 
And Not very smart people, as it seemed to me, do not think about anything and therefore are happy. However, this was a false impression.
Smart people (of course, not all but just statistically) are happier. The reason for this state of affairs, according to scientists, to a large extent lies in the fact that a serious role in a person’s sense of self is played by the income he receives, which provides various opportunities for recreation and doing what he loves, as well as the prospects for what he has to do at work. It is not easy for people with low intelligence to take a promising post, which inevitably affects their financial condition. And dissatisfaction with one's income and social status often leads to stress and negatively affects health and well-being.

However, this does not prevent you from being damn smart and sad, etc.
