I would like to explain what narcissistic personality disorder is.
some seem to misunderstand it.

The main feature of this disorder is that your self-esteem and how you feel directly depends on how other people evaluate you. I am constantly between my two opposite states. Either I feel like the most insignificant, useless, ugly and incapable person. Either I feel like an all-powerful beautiful beauty better than anyone on this planet. I don't have any stable self-esteem.
-I did something cool and someone praised me? I'm the coolest on this planet
-I saw other talented people? i'm a dick

of course I try to work on it, this disorder has a lot of nuances that cannot be described in a nutshell.
the funny thing is that I am a very shy person and direct attention is also stressful for me. but it is very important for me to be noticed xD
